# Quickstart: Run your first vendor assessment

> Sign in to VISO TRUST, request a vendor assessment, let AI analyze security evidence, and review the resulting third-party risk profile.

This guide takes you from sign-in to your first completed vendor assessment in VISO TRUST. In a few minutes you'll request an assessment, let the AI analyze the vendor's security evidence, and review the resulting risk profile.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, you need:

* A VISO TRUST account with access to the [Dashboard](https://app.visotrust.com)
* Permission to create assessments in your organization
* The vendor's name and a contact email for the third party you want to assess

## Get Started

    Log in to the [VISO TRUST Dashboard](https://app.visotrust.com) with your organization credentials.

  <Step title="Create an assessment">
    Start a new assessment, enter the vendor and the contact who will provide their security documentation, and choose the scope (data shared, integration type, business context).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Let the AI review the evidence">
    VISO TRUST collects the vendor's security artifacts (SOC 2, ISO 27001, policies, and more) and the AI reads them to identify controls, gaps, and risks — no manual questionnaire required.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the risk profile">
    Open the completed assessment to see the vendor's risk rating, flagged findings, and recommended follow-ups. Share the results with stakeholders or export the report.
